Description of Research and Teaching
Throughout her career, Zhuyun’s research has focused on the use of information technology and health management model to improve patients' prognosis, enable patients to master the content of healthy lifestyle, master functional exercise skills, and promote patients' physical and mental recovery. Her ongoing studies, funded primarily by Shandong Science and Technology Department, include the establishment of a long-distance simulation-based exercise rehabilitation training with psychological intervention and social support; the construction of a "health management model of nursing intervention" and the exploration of the mediating effect of self-efficacy on symptoms and quality of life of patients with colorectal cancer undergoing permanent colostomy; nursing intervention of health management model for patients with permanent colostomy for colorectal cancer can reduce symptoms by improving self-efficacy.
Currently, one area of Zhuyun’s research involves using the impact of Internet-based Tele-Home rehabilitation nursing on motor function, activities of daily living and quality of life of stroke patients. In one study, patients received 6-week tele-upper and lower extremity motor function guidance through instant messaging software at home, which improved upper and lower extremity motor function and daily life ability of stroke patients.
