Description of Research and Teaching
Throughout her career, Prof. Liu Chunlan’s research has focused mainly on science of nursing administration and training, and application of nursing skills and techniques to patients w/ neurologic disorders. Her ongoing studies, funded primarily by Shandong provincial department of science, Qilu medical school of Shandong University and Qilu hospital, include exploratory construction of an Internet informative platform for nurse training on the basis of nurses’ clinical needs. This research will greatly facilitate those fully occupied nurses who need further skill training but cannot manage enough time to do so. Besides, she also takes great interest in evaluating nurses’ psychological status in the background of current healthcare reform and developing related strategies for early intervention. In regard to the field of internship, great emphasis was lain on the effect of SPOC mode on the efficacy of clinical rotation of nurse undergraduates. Several papers related to these topics have been published, supported by these funds.
