The Health and Aging Lab was established in 2009. The lab focuses on molecular biological exploration by faculty from diverse disciplines including nursing, physiology, genetics and epigenetics. The lab covers an area about 100 square meters and has two sections, namely, Health and Aging Lab I and Health and Aging Lab II. The lab possesses equipment such as numerical control ultrasonic cleaner, electric-heated thermostatic water bath, electrophoresis system, upright Fluorescence microscope system,high speed freezing centrifuge, automatic gel imaging system, flake Ice maker, class II biological safety cabinet, and shaking incubator. The quipment enables nursing faculty and students to conduct basic medical research such as cell culture, qRT-PCR, western blot assay, histological analysis, and immunological Assay.
