Description of Research and Teaching

Dr. Li joined Qilu hospital of Shandong University in 2007. He has a PhD in medicine. He was appointed as the Deputy cheif physician since September 2015.

Throughout his career, Dr. Li's research focused on neurosurgery, especially on the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of complex and difficult tumors in the central nervous system. He is also committed to the minimally invasive treatment of central skull base tumors such as pituitary adenoma, craniopharyngioma, chordoma and meningioma, and the comprehensive treatment of trigeminal neuralgia by radiofrequency and minimally invasive surgery. He presided over two key research and development plans in Shandong Province; National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, Special Project Supported by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, First Class Project Supported by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and Independent Innovation Fund of Shandong University. Published 29 English papers and 19 Chinese papers in SCI.

He is Outstanding young doctor in Qilu hospital of Shandong University, outstanding young talent in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, member of Shandong Emergency Health Expert Advisory Committee.
