Description of Research and Teaching

Throughout her career, Luan Xiaorong’s research has focused on the use of "Hospital - Community - Family" triple linkage model to improve healthcare for patients with chronic disease and support healthcare providers’ efforts to improve planning and provide transitional care following hospital discharge, thereby reducing hospital readmissions. In additional, she has completed her studies, include the research on optimization of nursing services and policy recommendations based on performance excellence model; a survey of the needs and application of staff assistance programs for nursing staff in general hospitals; and study on the practice mode and effect evaluation of continuous nursing service for discharged patients.
