  • Biography

    Dr.Kong recieved his Ph.D in Psychiatry from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, he serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Nursing and Rehabilitation at Shandong University. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chair of the Young Talent Alliance at Qilu Medical College, Distinguished Professor at the Shandong Mental Health Center, "Taishan Scholar" Young Expert   in Shandong Province, and a recipient of the Shandong Province Outstanding Young Scientists Fund (Overseas). 

    His research focuses on child and adolescent mental health and psychological well-being, maternal, infant, and child health maintenance. He has led two provincial- and ministerial-level research projects and served as a core team member on one project under China's National Key R&D Program. As the first or corresponding author, he has published 30 SCI-indexed papers in top-tier medical journals—including *JAMA Pediatrics*, *JAMA Network Open*, and *Molecular Psychiatry*—including one highly cited paper. His work has garnered over 1,200 total citations and an H-index of 17, with his research findings being featured in interviews and reports by prominent organizations such as China's Ministry of Science and Technology, Reuters (UK), and *The Scientist* (USA).
