  • Biography

    Chen Xinxia holds a PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychiatry. She is an Associate Professor and Master’s supervisor at the School of Nursing and Rehabilitation, Shandong University, and a collaborative PhD supervisor at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. She serves as an expert on the National Committee for the Standardisation of Nursing Terminology, a member of the Nursing Subcommittee of the China Association for Better Birth and Child Care, and Vice-Chair of the Shandong Provincial Health and Nursing Subcommittee. She also acts as a reviewer for journals such as *Human Reproduction*. She has long been dedicated to research on infertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and the physical and mental health of women and their offspring. Integrating multidisciplinary research methods from clinical epidemiology, psychology, molecular biology and sociology, she uses population-based cohort and experimental studies to investigate the impact and mechanisms of fertility-related factors on the health of women and their offspring. She has led or participated in 10 provincial and ministerial-level research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Fund, the National Key Research and Development Programme, and the Provincial Natural Science Foundation. As first or corresponding author, she has published over 30 papers in SCI, SSCI, and Chinese core journals. Recipient of the Second Prize of the Qilu Nursing Science and Technology Award, the Second Prize of the 10th Shandong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award (third author), the First Prize of the Shandong University Postgraduate Teaching Achievement Award (third author), the Second Prize of the National Young Nursing Lecturers’ Teaching Competition, and the First Prize of the Shandong University Young Lecturers’ Teaching Competition. Co-author of eight textbooks published by People’s Medical Publishing House and Peking University Medical Press.
